Remedies

There is no CURE…or is there?

Tinnitus sufferers, you all have one thing in common. You want desperately to get rid of the noise(s) in your head! Your symptoms and cause(s) may be different but the need for a viable treatment and cure is the same. You may have read, or been told by the Medical establishment, that their is no cure, and from a clinical point of view this is true.

If you have been to see your Doctor or an ear, nose, and throat specialist, or an audiologist, the first thing they probably looked for is excessive ear wax. If clearing out any wax did not eliminate your noise(s) then they might have checked for some underlying medical condition, such as Meniere’s Disease, or Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ), or Otosclerosis. If they could not find a clinical condition, then you were most likely told that there’s nothing much you can do. Your doctor might have suggested using music or sounds to mask the ‘noise’, which can help you live with it, but basically, you were being told that you are stuck with your tinnitus until medical science comes up with a solution.

The choice that each Tinnitus sufferer faces is whether to accept, on the one hand, the Medical Community’s ‘truth’, that there is no cure; or to seek through alternative options the possibility that somewhere out there exists a solution or ‘miracle, that will quiet, or eliminate, the ‘noise’. I think that it is pretty clear to everyone who is experiencing the perpetual discomfort and agony of Tinnitus that the better choice is to continue to search for and try any possible solution until one finds, if not a cure, a means of reducing the intensity of their tinnitus.

This brings us to the question, is there a treatment or cure that can rid you of this debilitating condition? Well, yes, and no! Yes, in the sense that there are many individuals who have, depending upon the underlying cause, been successful at curing their tinnitus. Several of these people have developed treatment programs (see Remedies) that have helped others eliminate their condition. And, no, in the sense that their is no medical cure that will cure all kinds of tinnitus.

Part of the difficulty is that tinnitus has so many symptoms, that in many cases it is a combination of more than one or two known or unknown causes. Because there are so many variables involved in finding a solution that will work for any particular individual, there is no guarantee that any approach will resolve the condition. If you find a treatment, here, or any where else, that you would like to try, we suggest that you consider the following:

  • You may have to try several different treatments, or a combination of treatments, before you find something that works for you.
  • Everybody experiences tinnitus differently; what works for another person might not work for you.
  • Be persistence and have patience with whatever treatments you try. It may take weeks or months before you begin to see results.
  • Look for treatments that other people have had success with, particularly if they have experienced symptoms similar to your own. This can save you both time and money.
  • Check to see if there is a money back guarantee and for what period of time.
